Setters Liquor Store began in the early 2000s as a modest beer and wine shop tucked onto the side of Setters Neighbourhood Pub. Back then, it was a small convenience—just enough to serve the local crowd. But as the Top of the Hill community started to grow, so did the demand for better service, selection, and accessibility. Recognizing this, we embraced the opportunity to expand alongside the neighbourhood we’ve always called home. In 2021, we undertook a major renovation, adding over 1,000 square feet to our retail space and dramatically increasing our product selection. Through months of active construction—while remaining open to our loyal customers—we experienced firsthand the community’s curiosity and support, with more and more people stopping by to see the transformation unfold. By the fall of 2021, the renovation was complete. Setters Liquor Store now proudly features the largest number of cooler doors in Salmon Arm—32 in total—allowing us to offer the coldest, widest selection of beer, wine, coolers, and spirits on the Hill. What started as a corner shop has become a cornerstone of our neighbourhood. And we’re just getting started.
